Oh…..not far at all Stan. About 35 yards.I was testing some plinking loads. The bore is a bit oversized) so I opened up a .41 mag pistol die (about 230 grains) and cast a 100 or so bullets of 1/2 wheel weight/ 1/2 linotype.
16 grains of AA #9 makes a pleasant load and accurate for 50 yard plinking. I love shooting off hand. Some days are good some not. I can still keep the grandkids at bay….. for now!😀

Concerning IHMSA….. I still have painful memories of being talked into shooting one of those Pachmeyer .308 conversions on a 1911 frame..ouch!
