Thank you for the kind words and thoughts.... I concur, that gunning choice has covered many varied dove shooting outings.
The picture doesn't really show the crop we were shooting over....That was an old cultivated field that was planted in wheat last October.... It made a half way decent seed crop and was left in the field ungrazed. This spring we no tilled some millet over it and got a decent seed production in spite of the temperatures. Ran a shredder over it in strips two weeks ago and the birds and the doves quickly congregated....
Provides great shooting in our early season.
