It’s the anxiety over the durability of the pacemaker under recoil. The cardiologist selling them doesn’t die if it quits working.

It’s comforting to prospective patients to hear from others that have had good long term experiences with this thing, and the attendant procedure.

It is unrealistic to think or expect prospective patients wouldn’t reach out to others about it. Actually kind of vain and self absorbed to think or suggest otherwise.
