I suppose it could depend on what kind of cataract surgery you are referring to (or maybe there is only one kind……IDK. I had refractive lens replacement done a couple years ago. This is typically done for cataracts but in my case, I just didn’t want to wear glasses any more. In the case of this particular surgery, I would think a week since I had to wear a protective cover on my eyes at night for a week and was cautioned against lifting any heavy objects particularly if bending over for a week while the new lenses healed enough so they could not move.
