Ted, I have new old stock three speed stuff that I have hoarded for over 50 years, new in box Sachs, Shimano, Sturmey-archer, from when my parents had a bicycle shop and I ran the bike department. They closed it in 1979, and I saved everything.
Out there doing it best I can.

They closed it in 1979, and I saved everything. Done a dozen Lake Pepin 3 speed Tours, but, I’m ‘sorta the Smokey Yunick of that group, and have never done one on an AW or AM, although, I could. S5 is my friend. And, getting harder to turn up. Let me know. Otherwise, we can likely trade boxes of the stuff betwixt us. My S5 1974 International. You find these as a bare frame usually, long ago parted for their Campagnolo kit. I painted it with two stage urethane to match my wife’s Robin Hood S5 bike. Nervex lugs, 27” hoops, wheels, and everything else, by me. Because, I can. ![[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]](https://i.ibb.co/ZJYvC2n/IMG-0378.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]](https://i.ibb.co/S6k6KQS/IMG-0377.jpg) Haven’t had any success finding a good double gun mount for either bike. Her 5 speed: ![[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]](https://i.ibb.co/GJGyBx0/IMG-0068.jpg) The rack was bronze green when I bought it. Best, Ted

Philbert, No it's not, sure wish it was! It's a Voyageur 11.8 (kg). I was on the lookout for a Paramount P-35 without success. Many happy miles though. Good stuff always brings good money whether it be cars, watches, guns, etc. If you have a room full of the right Colt handguns and Winchester rifles, model 21's, and such you are going to come out way ahead. On the other hand if you have a room full of German drillings, average Belgian shotguns, sporterized military rifles, and generic cheap handguns you are probably going to het your lunch handed to you! Quality never seems to go out of style no matter what the market conditions are.

I'm up to about 25 vintage SxS. Not much for many but enough for me.
Some are high quality and/or have sentimental meaning for me. But at least a dozen could be sent down the road. I like them but IMHO their value is only going to decline. And with my right eye troubles, it has me reconsidering the whole endeavor.

Any success off the left shoulder, James?
I shot two rounds of trap with my son on Monday. He is a bit of a hotshot, but, with mountain bike racing season in full swing at his private, Catholic school, and several advanced placement classes at same, he is rusty. I beat him both rounds, shooting low twenties both rounds with 12 gauge pump guns for both of us. Normally, I like him to beat me, but, it felt good, and since he is my kid, I didn’t gloat, much, anyway. I have reached a point where holding the gun on the trap field right handed almost feels normal, as I haven’t shot left handed at the club in a few years. I would encourage you to grasp that this is not an endeavor that will be simple or quick, or easy. Do hire a professional to critique your shooting, one ugly thing I learned is that when shooting in cold blood at a patterning board, I have a tendency to cant the gun, and hook the shot left. I’m working on that, but, it doesn’t seem to be an issue on a bird I am swinging at.
Good luck.
Best, Ted

What do the docs say James? Don't do anything without some answers, and then wait a bit after that. The medicos don't always really know.

The best they can come up with so far is extremely fast Glaucoma. What should have taken 15 - 20 years plus took place in less than 12 months. No tumours. No other cause that they can determine so far. Had an MRI in early August they were able to compare to another I had done in 2015 for something else. No change that they could see.
Bit of a mystery.
