This information is correct. The information I got from the quick Google search I did was wrong, and it said Team USA Shooting had won 5 gold medals in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The medal totals provided by Ken are right.

I apologize for any confusion, and still stand by my observation that televised Network coverage of the Shooting Sports is almost non-existent. I also agree with what Damascus said about the effects of incremental and costly laws and regulations on gun ownership, storage, possession, and ammunition availability, and the negative effect that has had on reducing shooter interest, affordability, and participation. The subsequent reduction in gun values reduces demand and makes it inevitable that guns will become useless scrap, when they might have been well worth repairing and saving as Damascus did with his lovely Purdey Hammergun.

We aren't likely to see guns and ammunition banned in the U.S. overnight. Anti-gun Democrats will continue to use the same slow and steady attrition that anti-gunners have used successfully here and in many other countries. We can be foolish, and allow it to happen here, and then complain when guns become worth less and ammo becomes more unaffordable. Or we can be smart, and get registered to vote, and then get out and vote for candidates who will respect our Rights and Freedoms. We need to urge other gun owners to do the same, because historically, a high percentage of shooters and hunters don't bother voting, although they have the numbers to make a huge impact if they stick together. Unfortunately, too many gun owners are quick to complain about gun values, and ammo prices, and availability, but don't make the small and zero cost effort to vote to protect their interests. We must never listen to the minority of gun owners who say it can't happen here, especially when the politicians they support come right out and show us their intentions to undermine the 2nd Amendment. Gun owners who support anti-gunners are not on our side. They are wolves in sheep's clothing, and will say or do anything to hide that fact.

Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug
