Don't feel bad, I got the catalog today also. No RBL for me either. I need a new truck and I have several guns out for big work. Hunting is more important to me at the moment,as well. While the little 28ga is cute and most of the guns are light, I just saw 28ga ammo in the store and about puked up a lung at the price. I have some 410s already and a good pile of 20ga guns, that'll have to do for a good little bit.

When I had a chance to buy 38 flats of 28 ga shells at close-out prices, I jumped on it. Of course, now I don't have the money for the RBL 28.

You know there is this 12br 2" thing that carries like a 28 but hits like 16. Don't feel bad B I will not be spending mound of cash on the RBL either. My fav game gun cost me <$300.

battle, As much as I covet a 30" 28 from CSMC, it's not happening for me either. I was sure I could sneak it through the financial dept in two payments, but I checked with the CFO, and there's some silly stuff she wants instead...the 529 plans was also on "our" list.

I ordered yesterday. 26", straight grip, double trigger. Should be a great skeet, dove and quail gun. Why did I order it? I'm not sure. I have two other SXS 28s and one O/U. I did not buy the 20 because it does not have enough drop at the heel and I suppose the 28 will be the same. It may need to be bent. I guess I just like 28s and this one is beautiful.

30" barrels! Not 30' barrels as i posted above!Need to get another pair of $1.00 reading glasses! 30' barrels would be great for high fliers! They would have to be shipped by Railway Express! Chuck , my old 1977 F150 4x4 will have to last a little longer! Never gives any trouble anyway. 410 RBL to follow and a 30" 410 would be fine! Bobby

Now see...I'd scrape up some cash for a 30 ft 410, maybe even a 30 inch 410.
