So after many years I finally found a good 20 ga Win 21. Really nice wood especially for a field grade. My expert friend believes it is a replacement stock, which is fine by me. I wanted 30" barrels but settled for 28. Stock dimensions are very close to perfect. It has a leather covered pad that looks like what Win offered but appears to be glued on, as there are no holes or plugs. Also it is quiet butt heavy. I'd like to add 3/8" lop and balance it better but kind of hate to mess with this pad. Does anyone know how exactly it is attached?
