Looks like I was way off base on the maker. So disreagard all earlier threads about Dewson. My caregiver took pics of the nicely engraved lockplates and says they say Henry. Searched the site and found no mention of any Henry as a percussion shotgun maker. When I could still see, I think I posted pics of the Birmingham proofmarks on the barrels, but can't find that thread now. Can anyone here put the pics on this thread for me? I can have her take pics of the proofmarks next week.
