I have had pretty good luck with the Huglu line. The first gun I bough was a 28gs. for $489.00 on a closeout at Gander Mountain. It was one of the early guns and had a single trigger issue. It went back and the problem has been fixed...fanfiring.
I bought a second gun, this time a .410 CZ Ringneck. It has the same configuration as my Armsco with the exception of the case coloring. It's a nice gun with a very good trigger out of the box.
Bottom line, there good value for the money and a fun guns to play around with. They make great rainy day grouse guns, especially the 28ga.. I don't think I would put $1,400 into one. At that price, you might want to consider an L.C. Smith.
