Dogon: Many states are clearly still problematic and Colorado is now one of them.
I've been here for 40-years but...I might not be making my last stand here. Until then, I'll be hauling ammo back home from the neighboring states by the flat. Every fishing trip to Wyoming will include a fill-up on shells.
People can still vote with their feet and if pushed much-further we likely will as well. I've heard that California now adds a departure tax for folks fleeing their Marxist utopia. We'll be long-gone before that ever happens here.
I hear ya Lloyd.
I've had the thought that if I were a younger man, I'd move to Cheyenne and set-up a big ammo shop just across the Colorado border in Wyoming off I-25 in the same area as the fireworks outlets. I would then advertise heavily in Colorado for them to make the drive and save a bunch in the land of freedom just across the border.
The tax on ammo isn't going to be a big deal to someone like myself that only shoots recreationally but it will be to those who burn through thousands of rounds shooting competitively. I'll be curious to see how this plays out at the local sporting clays venues.
