The kids don’t seem to care what they shoot. Yet, anyway.

My son had his choice of just about anything in the house for his trap league. He narrowed it down to three, an A5 12, a Super Black Eagle I, both grampa’s guns, and, precious to him for that reason, and a lowly Mossberg 500 12, that really was owned by me, but, frequently loaned out to people to use in duck boats-the thing has been to Canada a dozen times with a former gun safety student of mine, now all grown up with kids of his own. He settled on the ugly 500 with the spray painted stock because he shoots it the best.

He lettered on the varsity team his first year out. He hasn’t used anything else in a long time.
