I may be a Canadian by virtue of the location of my birth. But philosophically I am an American. I feel like my American ancestors should have stayed in the Hudson River Valley, rather than migrating north in the immediate aftermath of the Revolution.
The American character, strong, independent and courageous, makes the world a much, much better place.
