This is an extremely cool rifle that I wrote a story about for Sports Afield. At some point it was rebarreled by A.D. McAusland in Miles City, Montana Territory. A.D. McAusland was a well known gunsmith at the time of the last of the Northern herd of buffalo. This is about as close as you can have to a certified Buffalo Rifle.
As I remember Kirk bought this Sharps from a fellow in Alaska.

So do you mix in any vegetables when you eat all that meat? No veggies. Lewis and Clark conquered the west in 2 years on meat and no vegetables…
