I can relate to this. I was sitting in a tree stand once, deer hunting, in camo and only moving my head. I became aware of a GH Owl watching me from a tall pine about 100 yards away. As I watched it sprang from the limb and started a gliding approach straight to me. At the very last second I realized it was targeting my head. I hollered and waved my arms which caused it to alight somewhere else besides my scalp. Had I not seen it the evening could have ended much worse than it did.

May God bless America and those who defend her.
