I had kinda forgotten about this thread.
As I mentioned previously, I’ve had lots of contact with Bobby and consider him a stand up guy. I believe what he said.
That said, I spent a lifetime working with and supplying product to retailers. Some good. Lots bad. Even with full knowledge of Bobby’s experience, that wouldn’t stop me from engaging with Vintage. As Jay put it so well in his recent post, the test is 1000s of customers over many many years. Not everything will go perfectly every time. Sometimes there will be real mess ups. Even with the very best of retailers.
Additionally I’ll note that there is an often repeated attitude here that if you are in vintage guns as a commercial enterprise, you must be a shyster of some sort. Which of course is horseshit.
