I was 22 when Ronald Reagan was elected president. I admired him from reading his newspaper columns but didn't think he had a chance of overcoming liberal media scare mongering. I was pleasantly shocked by his election and as president, he was everything I thought and hoped he would be. Just who the country needed at the time. Turned around our slide toward socialism and led us to victory in the cold war.
I loved the movie. The device of using the old KGB agent to tell the story was brilliant.
