Thank you my friend. They are Krupp barrels. I figured it would be fine but thought I would get the group’s opinion. I shot unknowingly a 1903ish 12 gauge with magnum modern 2 3/4 shells for years and never had a problem. Then I learned that older guns from Europe especially, were chambered in 2 1/2 inch. German steel and guns are famous for quality. But after learning my potential ignorance could have been disastrous, I’m doing my homework, so they say.
