OP KurtO Boxlock Joined: Nov 2024 Posts: 23 Lewiston Maine	You gentlemen have good points. I’m a shotgun guy and don’t know much about rifles. I have 3 other drillings in 8x57jr .318s. W the 30-06, I was considering target practice is all to get used to it. If the fmjs are to be hard on it, then I will save them for a bolt action. Thank you for your advice Kurt Kurt Otterstein
