Very nice deal. Sooner or later something will surface. Looking for a back up gun. Reasonably priced Browning BSS 20ga is on the radar. Well built but always seems like some kind of trigger issue.

Owned 3. The two with the selective trigger doubled, mechanical trigger on number three wouldn't fire the second barrel. Art fixed number three in a heartbeat. Besides that a real solid gun.

Years ago, I was in a gun shop in Des Moines. Spotted a nice looking sxs behind the counter. Turned out to be a Beretta but I don't remember the model # but it was later than the 400 series/ Silverhawk guns. I asked if they had snap caps so I could try the trigger. They obliged me. So I dropped in the snap caps and tried the trigger. Must have required recoil to reset. So I slapped the butt . . . click. Worked fine.
Guy behind the counter started laughing. He told me that someone else had asked to see that gun just a few minutes before I came in. Same deal with snap caps and trying the triggers. But in that case he asked why the trigger didn't reset. Gun store guy did the same thing that I did to show it required recoil to reset for the next shot. The customer asked who would be crazy enough to buy a gun where you had to slap the butt to get a second shot . . . and walked out the door. Gun store guy said he was laughing so hard he didn't have a chance to explain about recoil being required.

Stan might chime in on his BSSs. Never a second's trouble with my two BSS guns. Neither of them are sidelock guns, both boxlocks. I've put some heavy loads through mine for quite awhile with no doubling issues. Good triggers, IMO.
May God bless America and those who defend her.
