Mike,
I'm circling back to a bunch of half-done projects as we wrap up the year. One of which is making my 9.3x72r rifle shoot as it should. Finally I have internalized what you and others were saying...this rifle should be fed 0.358" bullets. The stamped bore gauge markings say so, as does my own chamber cast. I just placed an order for 200gr jacketed 0.358" bullets to try. Do you have any load recommendations you could point me to using 4895 or 4198? My subscription to Wolfe publishing's load data is expired and I'm having trouble with getting that sorted.
I've also finally ordered a 38-55 trim die to see if that speeds up the case sizing operation, versus wrapping with tape.
Happy New Years to all.
Chris
