All the crooks need to see is the firearm shaped box going to a gun shop. Then it’s just a matter of if they want to take risk or not.
If they do, your phone tells you your case is moving. To within feet. 24hrs/day.
If they are sophisticated, they detect the tracker and steal someone else’s.

Pretty common now days with stolen luggage to have the bags recovered quickly.
