I joined the forum 15 years ago to learn more about double guns and would like to thank everyone for the wealth of knowledge that exists here.
Stock finishing, repair, action problems, bluing, blackening/browning, chokes, barrels, you name it - it's here! It's a knowledge gold mine, and I thank all for their input and opinions!

I also enjoy lighthearted kidding and political jabs occasionally. We all know what opinions are like, and we all have one, but some of this thread seems to border on vitriol. Perhaps such venting, as it were, could reach a larger audience on X or wherever but it detracts from why some of us follow this forum. At 79, I've got more to learn and would prefer it be about double guns or ... can the Packers miraculously pull down another Superbowl ... or is there any upland bird hunting in Greenland?

The last thing anyone here needs is to take reloading advice from someone who blew up their Rock Island built 1903 Springfield rifle, and then blamed the rifle, the powder, and everything except the actual cause... which according to subsequent metallurgical analysis after the shattered remains were sold, was due to a single high pressure event, i.e., an apparent overload.
