I worked at Pedersen when it first got going. 3rd hire to work in the shop.
The Aramberi was a straight import which was simply repackaged and resold under the Ped. name.

They had a lot of reject problems with the imports as they came in at the time, mostly with the O/U models but the SxS's were effected as well.
Cracked stocks, FTFire and quite a few you could see the bbl address roll marking inside the bore.
Those were the main issues.

The O/U were V spring powered and the springs would break, though the Spanish maker supplied a large assortment of replacement parts for us.

The SxS was the same boxlock that Interarms was selling at the time as the STAR Model Side by Side.

Perersens 'better' line were made on Beretta BL4 bbled actions that were recv'd in the white. For some reason Beretta did not want us to use their Trigger Guard,,so they came w/o that .
The replacement became a cluster in itself.
Stuff like that, differences betw the Pedersen Shop and the Mossberg Factory bosses in how it was going to be run had a lot to do with why it failed.

There was no Super Light model in the Pedersen/Aramberi line when I was there.
