A few years back I read somewhere about the path to Marxism and how to accomplish it. Controlling the schools. Controlling the media. Spend an insane amount. Normalize gays. They have accomplished all. The next thing was promote transsexuals . At that time I thought there's so few of them that I doubt that would happen. Then came Obama and his bathroom edict. Look where we are today. Whoever wrote that was right on the money.

Of course it goes exactly the same way in the other direction of extremism such as fascist hyper conservatism, as we are seeing now and have seen before in eastern Europe, South American, and many other places. Controlling the schools and the media has already become part of this administrations agenda - well it was part of the platform before they even got elected. We are watching the nazification of American today, and for the next 4+ years.

And so it is, in these "interesting times".

Get your blinders tight, boys.

You're really serious about this, aren't you? Nazification? Tell me, when nazis, or communists, or dictators take over, what is one of the first things they do? Let me give you the answer, they take all the guns away. And which party in this country wants to eliminate the second amendment, and which party defends it? CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, NYT, NPR, PBS, etc, are mouthpieces for which party? And which party is screaming because social media is becoming freer? Are you seeing a pattern yet? Probably not.

The idea that the republican party is moving in the direction of hyper fascism is laughable. This party hasn't changed in the last 50 years that I can tell. What has changed is the democrats. Think of a football field, D's in the left endzone, R's in the right endzone. Now the D's pull their goalpost and move it 50 yards further left. And now they claim the political center is their 25 yard line and the R's have moved farther right. BS

And if you don't believe that? Look at what has happened in our lifetimes. Robert Byrd and George Wallace were democrats, how progressive were they? I would have liked to see drag queen story hour in Wallace's Alabama. How about some pride parades in Byrds hometown when he was grand wizard. In 1996, 118 democrats voted for the defense of marriage act, 65 against. How many do you think would vote for that today? Which party has socialist elected officials? 30 years ago, how many democrats would have backed the chemical and surgical mutilation of children?

You need to turn Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow off and expand your horizons.
