A friend (and FFL) happened to have a Army & Navy marked .410 2 1/2" chambered hammered SxS. Does anyone happen to know who might have the gun for Army & Navy.
Was it W&C Scott and Sons or might it have been a different maker?
I only took a quick look at the gun because I didn't want to like it so much that I would buy it, but the barrels didn't appear to be Damascus. It was nitro proofed in Birmingham for 2 1/2" shells. It didn't appear to have been abused and may have been in original condition, showing the expected wear and tear of a working gun. There were probably a couple of small cracks, not anywhere important and the barrels were bright.
