Seems like buying used guns is getting harder and harder.
What I've come across lately;
Buyer... You rated the gun as excellent but it looks like there's a small crack in the wrist
Seller... Oh very small it won't go anywhere
Buyer.. Has the gun been apart?
Seller... No
Buyer.. It looks like the screw head on the underside is all dinged up?
Seller... Oh I didn't see that
Buyer... You rated the gun excellent but there's rust all under the trigger guard.
Seller... It's excellent for it's age
Chips out of the head of the stock are not a 98% rating
A stock they rubbed a porcupine up and down on is not light handling marks.
When there's no picture of the top lever is usually it's sitting at 7:00

Pays to stick with the long standing dealers.
