Agreed. I've been looking for a very high original condition Iver Johnson Special Trap for years. Thinking I had found one, based on the description, some years ago, I verified the return policy and bought it. When it arrived it was just as you said, replete with issues. When I called the seller and told him I was returning it he tried to talk me into keeping it. When I recounted all the issues with it he said "Well, what do you expect, it's an old, antique gun!" I simply replied that what I expected was for it to live up to it's description.
