ky, i too have seen occasional negative feedback disappear for buyers and sellers...
however, those are rare exceptions and not common accurances...
point is, people who have long documented histories of doing the right thing...
rarely deviate from their standards and can be depended on to maintain the same pattern of behavior...
keep it simple and keep it safe...

eeg, it has been my experience that some sellers on gunbroker claim images to be part of the description of an item for sale...and that flaws seen in images need not be detailed in written descriptions...I disagree...all known flaws should be included in written descriptions and should include details describing the good, the bad and the ugly of an item...most misunderstandings I have with sellers are due to this difference of opinion as to the use of images in an item listing...
keep it simple and keep it safe...

How about things like thin barrels, ed? You have repeatedly refused to answer questions about barrel thickness on guns you sell, yet you ask those very same questions of others. You even refuse to describe how you measure barrel walls. You may have a great rating on GB, but you are evasive about questions that you ask yourself and you do not except returns. None of that speaks well for your reputation or worthiness.
