Fecker employed John Unertl for years until Unertl quit to start his own business making scopes. Early on Unertll scopes came with Fecker mounts as they were friends still and Fecker supplied Unertl mounts. I've seen more early Unertl scopes with Fecker mounts than Fecker scopes with Unertl mounts. I can't imagine why Fecker would ever buy Unertl mounts for his scopes since he was making mounts much longer? I have seen some Fecker scopes with other maker's mounts, but I doubt Fecker put them on those scopes.
It's been suggested my Fecker marked scope without center adjustment might have also been some prototype Fecker was experimenting with, and never made it into production? I'll probably never know since records don't exist for Fecker, and very little advertising was done as compared to vast advertising done by Unertl, and very good records.
