He has been in the lumber business for 35 years fwiw.

Russian lumber imported through Germany can be superb, and cost effective. But I don't know about availability these days. I'm just glad that my house and barn were framed up back in November. Lumber prices are/were at precovid levels, but probably not by the end of this coming week.
