Michael, That's not done in a mirror is it Best, Tim It's a Gibbs Mauser, no mirror, it's a left hand rifle. Not everyone agrees on who made it. The rifle is here in Anchorage and I hope to be able to take some better pictures of it someday. I believe that Mauser did advertised left hand actions, don't know if any are known or not.

hello kevin i have a mauser actioned takedown rifle built by a holland&holland employee. the front guard screw comes out and the barreled action come out of the stock but a piece of the upper tang stays in the stock, it has the holland side safty, rear two leaf sight, and front sight with a push button hood,it is a very english looking gun.email me and i will send photos Mark engraver@sdaccess.net

Michael,
Fascinating. Look forward to more info, proof marks etc. I'd admire to acquire a left-handed Mauser. Like the peep sight on the cocking piece.
