PhysDoc is correct about the shop. Jtplumb is correct about me being "honest Mikee" but very incorrect about me doing a lot of bidding. My feedback will show I have bought nothing on GB for 8 months. I have bid on a French Darne 16 and a French pocket pistol in the last 3 months and won neither of them. I have sold a couple hundred pieces and about 100 books since last August, and accepted every reasonable offer I have received. Collecting continues to be a lifelong pleasure, but I hope to be down to about my favorite 20 by 2028.

On another note, for any of you who knew Dale Edmonds. I was with him when he passed last Friday afternoon. He was, in my opinion, the world's greatest refinisher of black and white damascus pattern barrels. He bacame a friend as he did work for me over the years. Dale was incapacitated by a stroke over a year ago and was confined to a nursing facility. I had the incredible privilege of leading him to the Lord Jesus Christ after his stroke. He asked me to be his POA and the executor of his will as he had no wife or kids. I will miss him, and the collecting community will miss his expertise and work. Buck Hamlin, who was an incredible doubles gunsmith and friend, passed last August. It's important to keep our priorities straight and to always consider our eternity and relationship with our creator. I don't think I will be taking any of my doubles with me when I make that journey!

Planning on RVing to the Southern with some doubles in April.

Blessings,
Mike
