Actual new tariffs have not been published, everything at this point is speculation. The publication of new tariff schedule is set for 2 April. We will see what happens.
The current speculation is in part based on statements which may or may not reflect the final outcomes.
The fact that the EU and others maintain significantly higher tariffs on some American Goods than we do on the same goods coming from them appears on its face wrong. Automobiles are a good example of this disparity, 5% vs 20% ( I think, though I have not looked it up again)
I further note that EU vs UK as a source is another question mark; will the EU tariffs apply the same to the UK? I do not know.
