I don't know if they are the same as the carb cleaner you mentioned. I never ran Mercurys with carbs, always injectors, so I'm not familiar with that particular product. I'd be hesitant to get any type of carb cleaner near any wood-stocked guns. It will wreck the finish. May God bless America and those who defend her.
