I was skimmin' thru the hammerguns on Gunbroker in a respite from finishing my taxes & I noticed that on this pre-1880s Sauer it appears that Sauer had a sourcing relationship w/ Léon Leclercq of Liège? I am not sure what else it means less that Léon Leclercq of Liège performed some tube effort for Sauer? There are another set of interesting initials near Léon Leclercq's code on the underside of the left tube but I cannot make them out...

I had always put Léon Leclercq of Liège in the Flobert and Poacher's Gun Platforms arena but I guess he was adept at all manner of things weapons related like all the other mechanics in Liège?
