Why is it that extended chokes don’t jar the eye on an over and under, but look so wrong in a side by side?

They jar my eye wherever they are, including loose in the bottom of the tool box.

But, hey, I married a brunette after a circus of blondes, so, there is that….

It's certainly not traditional, but for a pure clay busting tool it looks like fun. Then again, I'm the oddball with a modern stocked Ithaca.

Fabarm does build a solid gun. I'm friends with the local dealer and apparently the pre-orders are stacking up.

They could have at least blacked out the chokes.

Very enjoyable video about a great sport which I enjoy on this side of the pond as well. The gun should be an awesome competitor in S X S sporting events, but at roughly $5300 it's a bit pricey for me. And, I agree about the choke tubes. If they are deemed necessary, flush mount ones deliver a much nicer profile, IMO.

Thanks for posting, Parabola.

As I watched, I decided I liked it. I realize it is the gun nut in me. I mean, I came around to the Browning Cynergy. The rib is the only thing I dislike, but it has enough solid functional, practicality in the appearance, for a SxS, that I can ignore it. I'm not going to buy one.

Aesthetically it looks like the SxS equivalent of a Tesla Cybertruck, but then the same can be said most modern competition O/U's.

I would like to see one in hand before passing total judgement on it, but around here the odds of that happening are somewhere between slim & none. I wonder what the barrel wall thickness is on it? There sure looks like a lot of barrel wall sticking past the OD of those extended chokes.

Because side-by-sides have a long tradition, and over/unders don't?

All the terrible looking new double guns are over/unders... This is the first tricked out side by side, I've seen. I hope it's not a habit.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.

Perazzi has something similar in their DC12's for flyers.
