Because side-by-sides have a long tradition, and over/unders don't?

All the terrible looking new double guns are over/unders... This is the first tricked out side by side, I've seen. I hope it's not a habit.

There is a subtle difference between “tricked out” and “pimped out”.

Know the difference.

I wonder if they will make a more traditional finished version in the CG line. Get rid of the blue graphics and CCH the receiver and forend iron, I'd probably get in line. It's a weakness.

At the price ,I see no point in them.None of the attributes of the s/s guns we cherish and any grade of machine made o/u is as pleasing ,so may as well buy an o/u for a LOT less money....

Skimmed the video and I won't be being one and I'm not surprised at the lack of interest here. Virtually all of us like & buy SxS's that are traditional in appearance and function, that's what attracts us to the SxS platform, not that the barrels happen to be side by side

I remember that CSM as well as Merkel offered a clays specific SxS in the past. Pistol grip stock, 30' barrels, raised rib, etc. Nothing about this one feels correct to me!

Might be a fine gun, I just can not get turned on by the looks.

Well at lease it's not a Pimp's gun, in 410 or 28 ga.

I was going to say pimped out, but I didn't see any gold...

Remember they are getting paid to say all that. Johnny Carter is coming out with a video on it as well.

This piece is basically design specific for clay shooting events. Problem is, SxS events are disappearing fast everywhere, unless it is solely SxS shoots, which are even more scarce. The upcoming U. S. Open at Providence Hill near Jackson, MS has no SxS event. This gun is basically an answer to a question no one asked. Regardless, I would much prefer one of these instead:
