greener4me Sidelock Joined: Apr 2018 Posts: 133 Likes: 27	1 & 5/8 oz lead load is at the lower end of 10 gauge data for Blue Dot. I think that you are most unlikely to make that a load with workable ballistics in the 8 bore. A magnum shotshell primer may be worth a try, but...??

12boreman Sidelock Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 305 Likes: 131 Utah	I had to use 7 gauge wads in brass shells with smokeless powder to get good ignition. In plastic or paper shells 8 gauge or even 9 gauge wads worked fine. "As for me and my house we will shoot Damascus!"
