I am new to shooting 410 and really enjoy it. My Sxs has 28" barrels and I have an O/U with 31" barrels. If a Sxs had 30" barrels would there be excessive downflip? Any other negatives for 410 barrels that long?

Jeff, I have two .410s S x Ss with 30" barrels, and one O/U with that length. I can find no fault with the longer barrels. I feel I shoot them better than shorter lengths. There is so little perceived barrel flip in a .410, IMHO, that I cannot tell it exists at all. I think you would love one with 30" tubes.

I realize the overall length of the guns pictured appear to be different but they all three have 30" barrels.

Thanks Stan, I should have just called you. What is the gun in the middle? It looks just about perfect. I don't want ultra light either, just a tad over 6 lbs would be ideal.

It's a FAIR Verona, Bill. But they're not 31", they're 30". The picture makes it look like all three are different lengths but they're all 30".
