Regarding the A&D Body Action Biks, this is the only Pre-WWII one I have ever seen. And Jani has one of the few Post WWII Biks of which I am aware.
Like I said, folks in the Austro-Hungarian Empire were slow to embrace change.

And the points of the chequering / fish scales are quite pronounced so I assume they have recently been refreshed. ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/8c/dd/FZmqgEy3_t.jpg) And the Deeley & Edge forend lever has a novel addition, as previously mentioned. Slugs in a 24 gauge wouldn't be especially useful. Stendebach and I think differently. It is (exactly!) a .577 Snyder. Carcano

Mr. Felix Neuberger gives that production of 20 bore/24 bore/8 bore/10 bore were at a constant rate of 12% per year, I assume. So tossing the statistics evenly, that's 12% / 4; therefore, a yearly estimated production of 24 bores @ 3%.
Carcano, if you & Stendebach can hold me a flat of those 24 bore slugs, I'll be right over to collect them. Might have to made 2 trips though @ 200 rounds per trip.

Biks is a Slovenian acronym for Biksarica or Cape Gun.... Borovlje mechanics speak Slovenian amongst themselves & use common Slovenian terms being true to their roots as Borovnik has been from the get-go.

Stendebach and I think differently. It is (exactly!) a .577 Snider..... So do you think a 577 Snider will drop right I esteem your precise and lightly challenging question. A Fiocchi (or Cheddite) hull will fit in and quite tightly. However, the original British infantry load had -at times - an about 50 % heavier solid bullet, and a faster speed at that. So, I would probably not recommend to fire His Majesty's somewhat shorter solid bullet cartridge in a light 24 gauge shotgun... and thanks for taking me up. Carcano

Now I have everything less the projectile for tossing 0.577" Balls about including 24 bore brass, primers, pulver, etc..... I just need a cast....
Of course I would only be temped in the Biks for starters.....

![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/20/52/UnMpfqj7_t.jpg) Should I use semi-smokeless or Black? Fibre, Cardboard or other cards??? That's a 500 Express dropped in one case.... Hochachtungsvoll, Raimey rse
