And other than putting a shop like this out of business, what did those new firearms laws actually accomplish?
NOTHING
The stupidity of voters is mind boggling. I’d guess it was sold as accomplishing keeping guns from bad guys, but, if it drove Mark and like minded store owners out of business, it did what was actually intended. Best, Ted

Ted, I know you have to whine and cry about anything I post. This time you completely failed to comprehend my first sentence.
But thank you for being so damn predictable. You and craig never fail to disappoint.
Now ask your mom if you can have a cookie to sweeten up your next basement tantrum. I have targets to shoot. No, I simply point out idiocy when and where I see it. Looking at a screen at 10s of thousands of guns, in your pajamas, does not equal a great gun store. I’ll say a quick prayer for whatever gun you are shooting today that it doesn’t end up blown up. Again. Best, Ted

These laws have nothing to do with safety or reducing violent crime. It is all about government control.
I doubt that criminals and gang members did much business in a shop like that. Just like they don't submit to background checks, obey restraining orders or Red Flag laws, use trigger locks, practice safe storage, complete mandatory training, honor waiting periods, and use lead-free ammunition.
I also highly doubt that criminals, gang members, drunk illegals and other habitual offenders drive around in their unregistered, uninsured vehicles, with their stolen handgun safely secured in a locked, impact and fire-proof hardcase.
Enact yet another intrusive law - yeah, that will address the problem.

....I have targets to shoot. Faux proshooters predictably disappoint. The only important thing is to send the message that their march to the left will not be tolerated. Save a target and the environment from your toxic lead bullets, and eat more tofu.

Sorry to hear Mark is stopping gun sales. Although, when he moved from Broadway to his LODO location he started getting out of the gun business. The new CO gun laws aren’t helping stop gun related crimes.

It's not just that Ken. Mark's lease is up in February and he's all done after that. He might maintain an online store for some of the clothing lines but the rest of it is all done.
Gunny: I refer to it as "the California disease"...

I'm sure LLoyd knows bricks and mortar retail needs $sales/sq ft. If you aren't getting it you gotta go. He'll probably make a better living out of a garage selling on-line only. Time waits for no man.
Bricks and mortar stores just aren't the way people buy things anymore.
I can buy any gun I want off the internet with out leaving my chair. Well what do you know. The Amazon truck just pulled in. I just ordered that stuff this morning.
Out there doing it best I can.

I can buy any gun I want off the internet with out leaving my chair. Well what do you know. The Amazon truck just pulled in. I just ordered that stuff this morning. Amazon doesn't sell guns and ammo. And this Bricks and Mortar Colorado Gun Shop apparently did well enough even though it has been successfully competing for years with Gunbroker, Guns International, and many other Internet gun sellers. Lloyd and a few others here are able to Connect the Dots, and understand that the demise of this and several other Denver area Gun Shops happened as a result of Colorado's new anti-gun laws. In other words, Liberal Left Democrats once again did more damage to gun owners, gun sellers, and gun buyers. But naturally, the usual Liberal Democrats here will say anything to convince people that other factors were the cause. Certainly those here with eyes, ears, and brains have noticed that Democrats also wish to restrict Internet Gun Sales. It's not a secret. Gunny: I refer to it as "the California disease"... Actually Lloyd, it's the Democrat Party Disease. Attacks on Gun Rights happen wherever Democrats gain power... not just California. Sticking our heads in the sand or permitting Liberal Democrats to sugarcoat the truth with lies isn't going to help reverse the tide. Time to wake up! The Democrat Disease is a Stage 4 cancer.
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug
