....bricks and mortar retail needs $sales/sq ft. If you aren't getting it you gotta go.... An unemotional fact of life. But, the once great state of Colorado has seen a specifc, disproportionate toll on gun stores, not just any old brick and mortar store. Thousands of Coloradans have peacefully lobbied and rallied for basic gun rights, showing clear disagreement with their kalifornicating guvnah. They aren't just sitting around on their easy chair killing off mom and pop, small town with their internet connection.

The prof says ,who cares, you can still but guns other places. What you gonna do Brent when they hit their next target? Just go on saying there's still somewhere to buy a gun until there's not?

so, watt his hit bout colo guns laws dat are causin small gun shops to close? Among other things, a new 6.5% excise tax on all retail sales of firearms and related products statewide, over and above the existing Denver city (5.15%) and state (2.9%) sales tax on retail sales, and the 10% Pittman Robinson tax that the firearm manufacturers pay before you see the retail price.

All part of the "Reasonable firearms laws" and "Responsible firearms owners" nonsense that the left uses to convince voters. The same folks who have the warped belief that we have to give up rights to "Save the Second Amendment," and the same folks who think the left isn't interested in your .30-30 or Browning Superposed.
Yes, they are interested in your .30-30 and Browning Superposed. And not in a good way.

Sorry to see Mark go.
Yes, the new laws here are overly burdensome, and do nothing to stop gun crime. That said, I'm doing what is required of me to stay in the game.

I remember my visit to MW Reynolds several years back. They were welcoming and pleasant even though I told them I was window shopping. It was a decent place with good conversation. Idid end up buying some Braeval shirts.
It was a unique place with its own character, while one can buy guns in many places from Walmart through Cabelas, et al; they lack the uniqueness, expertise, and focus of MW Reynolds.

Takes all kinds, I guess. There are idiots that believe looking at 10,000 pictures of guns on a website somehow compares to what you experienced. I don’t need Savile Row, but, a place that has some Filson togs in stock would be nice. A selection of cargo shorts, shop rag T-shirts and boonie hats doesn’t hurt either. ___________________________________ Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence in society. Mark Twain
