I agree. If I can make space shuttle parts you would think I could inlet a stock. As far as being cheap I know the difference between cheap and gouging someone. One guy quoted me 3000.00 to fit a stock. Now come on 3000.00 to carve a little wood. That is gouging someone in my book. Sorry folks I worked damn hard for a lot of years as a machinist. I have mill and lathe at home and have done work for local folks and If I charged them the rates being discussed here they would laugh. Everyone has their opinion and I respect them but my opinion is these guys are gouging folks. If I can't do it i'll just throw it in the pond...
