Wilkes is stamped within the bar], and retailed by Richard Jeffery. Loading equipment in the case is the Jeffries patent. The gun is a 10 ga. pinfire and has accounted for a few pheasants in recent years. The workmanship on the gun is of the highest quality including the somewhat unusual engraving .
