I have moved to a PW 375 from 40 year of 600Jr work. Boy if I had a Time Machine!

In any case it is working beautifully but the final crimp seemed a little tight to me - looked good but just feels like I am smashing it down a smidge.

I understand there are two adjustments, basically the overall length of the die and the spring (defined as the taper adjustment )

I raised the whole die 3/4 turn and the machine will now cam over which I assume is not correct - or is that correct and why it initially felt like I was smashing ?

Any basic help?
Should it cam over?
What is the taper of the crimp?
