The Brits consider sidelocks without ejectors to be decidedly odd. You can make some good buys on them.

If an abridgment will suffice see George Hoyem's reprint of Patent's for Invention, Class 19 (small arms) , 1855 - 1930 Armory Publications 1993. For complete specifications the British Patent Office.

WR on the locks .William Rogers ? I did hear these locks and even the guns fitted with them as " Rogers " in the Birmingham trade .
