... I won't let someone ship me a gun. I don't have time to fool with that nonsense. It's that simple. But, good luck to those who do. Liberal Democrats are a funny bunch. In 1968, they demanded an end to mail- order gun buying, because they said shipping guns in the mail was unsecure and dangerous. And DimmyW has all kinds of paranoid concerns about shipping damage, theft, loss, and even employees who would intentionally destroy them. So given all of that potential for theft, loss, and nefarious behavior... why do you suppose Democrats are all in favor of mail-in voting ballots?
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

.... I am reminded that there is at least one large used gun dealer that I haven't visited in the South, in Wagram, NC . . . . . Mid-South Guns. It is in my winter plans to make an overnight trip there to actually see their place for myself and possibly do some trading. I have heard great things from friends who have been. Mid-South does zero advertising and has no online presence, unless something has changed in the last year or so. Mike, I think said you've been there before. Is it still a shop worth driving from GA to visit? I have been there. It is very much worth the trip.

Getting back to why we can't order guns through the mail: I think most of us would likely include the firearm that allegedly killed JFK

Aside from my one purchase of a new Dickinson through the excellent Tom Bryant at the Sidney, NE store I've never had any dealings with Cabela's gun libraries. I've heard so many horror stories about them that now I have zero interest in looking online at their vintage guns.

They have got every wall lined with bottom and top rows of some very nice guns of every description you can think of. The staff is helpful and you are free to look at an handle anything you can reach that is outside the showcases where they have a plethora of handguns and knives. It is WELL WORTH stopping in. But plan to spend a few hours!!!

Thanks, Perry. I'll try to remember that.
May God bless America and those who defend her.
