Those Norma AD-LER shells would be awesome for waterfowl.
But, a good old Remington Express 3 inch with #2 lead would be pretty much as effective, just cheaper.

Biting down on a tungsten pellet probably wouldn’t end well.

Ted, drone swarms and drone defense are again in the news today. I just went back and looked at that film clip you posted and it is terrifying.

My wife and son are using AI extensively in their researches. Son just said he had a three hour conversation with AI on an academic paper he was writing - not just writing style or grammar but a deep exchange on intellectual ideas and topics, literary references and philosophical musings and when he finished and went down for a drink in his local bar in NYC, he found the human conversation incredibly boring and lame.

We are in a brave new world. and that film clip has stuck in my mind - as someone who has been in conflicts and saw and hallucinated on a video clip of a drone chasing a North Koran soldier around a tree. It is so real you can almost taste a future disaster coming, perhaps within the next five years. And I don't need a drone load - #4 shot should do it unless as in the film the drone is so adroit that it can dodge.

Heaven help us if the sporting clays site decides to substitute clays for small drones and equip them with counter measures and offensive riposte capabilities. Better wear body armor to the range.

Didn't you mean, substitute small clays for drones, instead of the opposite? Clays are already present at the sporting clays ranges, at least in Georgia.

Be careful to exposite accurately when you propose outlandish possibilities, Gene. 😉

May God bless America and those who defend her.

Clays can be pretty dangerous to me Stanton. smile (add "out" to "substitute" and voila).

Has he considered a move to Mississippi? Walk into a bar down there and you’re liable to find someone holding forth on Solzhenitsyn’s Gulag. First couple chapters anyways.

I’ve been experimenting with AI myself. I asked it to create an illustration of a gentleman in a fine automobile. Spit out a picture of some old guy in cargo shorts and a boonie hat driving an Oldsmobile. I’m no expert but I believe that’s called a hallucination.

Wonder how the schools in Michigan perform compared to Mississippi.

Rhetorical, Donny. Everybody who mattered already knew. 41st out of 50.

Best,

Argo44 is doing a great public service by Posting his off-topic message concerning the threat to our national security that has resulted largely due to Democrats and the Biden Administration obstruction of Border Security and Immigration law.

Just the numbers of Chinese nationals alone that have illegally entered our country during the Biden era is staggering. Illegal entries by Chinese increased by over 7000%. Many of them were involved in the Fentanyl and illegal narcotics trade that was responsible for the deaths of nearly 400,000 U.S. citizens in only four years. Many others were here for spying and other nefarious purposes. We also have PRC Chinese buying up large tracts of land very close to U.S. Military Bases, which could certainly put their drones and drone operators too close for a timely response to a surprise attack.

https://cis.org/Testimony/Security-Risk-Unprecedented-Surge-Chinese-Illegal-Immigration

Then we also have massive numbers of criminals and terrorists that came in from Muslim countries and just about every country on earth. Many Security experts are predicting an imminent large scale attack in the U.S. designed to maximize casualties. A large percentage of the roughly 20 million illegals that came in under Biden are military age males. And our tax dollars were used to bring them in, feed and house them, provide them free Health Care, etc. You have to be brain dead or mentally ill to vote for a Party that undermines the nation like that.

Just more proof that Elections have consequences. Now Trump and our DoD are left with the grave problem of finding solutions before something very bad happens.

Of course, if something bad like a terrorist attack does happen, Democrats will be very quick to blame Trump for the problem they created. And if Trump, Pete Hegseth, & Co. do come up with any solutions, Democrats will likely be quick to file lawsuits and get injunctions from partisan Judges to stop them.

Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug
