Nicer than the usual H. Pieper Original Diana. Looks to have a steel breech and possibly Bernard tubes

the is not an LC Smith and has no relation to one. It is a Henri Pieper from Belgium. I like them, they are neat guns. The Diana is Beretta's monoblock 100 years earlier... It is maybe a $600.00 gun and probably less.

The Original Diana monobloc was patented in 1881, in which the tubes were inserted from the breech with a step from the steel breech to the pattern welded tubes

Beretta referred to the process as the Brevetto.

I don't know what Manufrance called it.

Then in 1903, like the Modified Diana, Beretta inserted the tubes from the front; without the step
